Scenarios for the Poorest: The View from 2030

Outsights, a scenario consultancy, worked with the Department for International Development (DFID),UK, to produce these four scenarios, which each emphasize a different force and its affect on the poorest people on the planet:

1. the rise of Brazil, India, Russia and China;
2. technological change;
3. migration; and
