Wings of Support

The foundation "Wings of Support" is a private initiative by KLM staff. And from september 5th 2005, Martinair is also a part of it.

What does it do? Many crew members are confronted with poverty all over the world during their layovers. Often they feel helpless and want to take part in improving the lives of the children they are confronted with. Though many times individual crew members cannot help, Wings of Support can. Every crewmember encountering potential projects to be supported can report this back in the Netherlands, Wings of Support takes over and investigates the project. Once adopted the project can be visited by all crewmembers having a layover near the project, thus continuously checking its progress. [Wings of Support]
